My passion for writing is rooted in more than just a love of language – it’s about creating work that moves to action. I’m drawn to writing that inspires, that stirs something deep. Every word anchored in a desire to encourage & reflect a greater purpose.
Writing a Global Story
This script was crafted to stir hearts toward global missions and invite viewers into serve others. I collaborated closely with an animator, shaping the visual direction and guiding the creative process to ensure the imagery brought the message to life in a compelling and purposeful way.
Process
Liaising closely with Global Leaders, I shaped the script by identifying key stats and strategic direction. These figures anchored the script in urgency and gave real purpose behind the need to engage with the piece.
Creative Direction
The tone was designed to be invitational and missional, linking global impact with personal transformation. It invites people to join the story, awaken their faith, and make a tangible difference through global trips and ongoing engagement.
Outcome
A focused, inspiring script that paints a vision, clarifies the need, and guides people toward next steps as they consider their part in God’s global story.
Made For More
This script was crafted as a bold declaration; calling viewers out of complacency and into an abundant, purpose-filled life. It was designed to stir a holy dissatisfaction with surface-level living and awaken a desire for deeper transformation, richer faith, and lasting impact.
Process
For this piece, I worked to translate theological truth into accessible, emotionally compelling language. This piece was born from prayerful reflection on the spiritual hunger many feel and the invitation Jesus offers into fullness of life.
Creative Direction
The tone is urgent yet hopeful, poetic yet grounded. Each line builds toward a crescendo of resolve moving from “less” to “more.” The pacing and phrasing were carefully considered, blending metaphor with mission, helping the viewer feel both the ache of discontent and the promise of divine purpose.
Outcome
The result is a piece that invites the audience to reject passivity and step into the calling and transformation on offer. It serves not just as a moment of inspiration, but as a turning point; an open door for those ready to pursue a deeper life with Christ.
Awaken
This script was crafted to call the church into a season of intentional pursuit. Inspired by the biblical account of Pentecost and the early church, it was designed to evoke awe, expectancy, and a longing for personal and collective renewal.
Process
Developed to serve as both a theological anchor and a spiritual invitation with key themes of formation, fasting, community, and the outpouring of the Spirit. The goal was to capture the essence of revival; not just as a past event, but as a present pursuit.
Creative Direction
The tone is poetic, prophetic, and stirring: infused with urgency and reverence. The imagery is rooted in scripture but framed with modern resonance. Upper rooms, broken bread, and burning hearts collide with the cry of today’s church for more of God. It’s cinematic and reflective, inviting viewers to step away from the noise and lean into the mystery and power of God’s Spirit.
Outcome
The final script serves as a catalyst; calling individuals and communities to pause, refocus, and make room for awakening. It leads the church into a posture of expectancy, not as passive observers, but as active participants in a movement of renewal.
Juneteenth
This script was written to honor Juneteenth in a way that was both reverent and resonant; rooted in faith, history, and community. It was created to reflect on the spiritual significance of freedom, unity, and the image of God in all people. More than a historical recap, the piece was designed to spark meaningful reflection and corporate worship.
Process
In shaping this script, I sought to balance theological truth with cultural weight. I engaged with key team members to ensure the language honored the historical moment and carried pastoral sensitivity. The goal was to offer a unified voice that held both dignity and conviction.
Creative Direction
The tone was intentionally poetic yet invitational. It bridges the story of Juneteenth with the gospel narrative, balancing freedom from physical slavery with freedom from sin. The imagery is rich and deliberate: pointing to the person of Jesus as the ultimate liberator. It paints a picture not just of remembrance, but of collective calling.
Outcome
The final script calls the church to celebration, but also to reflection, responsibility, and action. It doesn’t just mark a day, but an invitation to the freedom and unity that Christ has secured for all. The result is a moving, worshipful moment that honors the past and invites the church into deeper solidarity and discipleship.
